Terms of Use
Effective October 20, 2026
These terms cover the Unify website and beta waitlist. They do not sell a subscription, grant access to a released app, or replace any terms that will accompany the beta.
The service and your signup
Unify is an independent academic-planning project operated by its founder. You may explore this website and, if you are at least 18, join the beta waitlist using an email address you control. By submitting the form, you agree to these terms and consent to emails about beta access and availability. You can withdraw that consent by contacting founder@unifyapp.dev.
Joining is free. No payment information is collected. A waitlist place does not guarantee an invitation, a particular release date, future pricing, or availability at your institution. Features, scope, and timing may change.
Product previews and academic responsibility
Interface previews use illustrative coursework and are based on the app under development. They are not actual student records or a promise that a feature is publicly available. The feature-status section distinguishes implemented functionality, beta validation, and planned release work.
Unify is a planning aid. Imports and assistant guidance can be incomplete or incorrect. Official course materials and your institution remain the authority for deadlines, grades, enrollment, and submission requirements. Do not rely on a preview, inferred date, or reminder as proof that work has been submitted or that no work is due.
Canvas and institutions
Unify is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Canvas, Instructure, or any university. Those names belong to their respective owners. Live Canvas integration is not enabled. Future support depends on authorization, source availability, and testing for each institution; no universal integration is promised.
Acceptable use
Do not submit addresses without permission, automate abusive signups, interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service unlawfully. We may reject or remove abusive submissions and suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service.
Content and privacy
Unify’s branding, original site design, and software belong to their respective owners. You may share links and use the site for its intended purpose. Our Privacy Policy explains how signup and technical information are handled. Contact us before reusing our branding in a way that could imply an affiliation.
Availability and limitations
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but provide it on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose, and are not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of the website. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update the website and these terms as the project develops. The effective date identifies the current version; material changes affecting existing waitlist consent will be communicated before a new use of your data. Questions or requests can be sent to founder@unifyapp.dev.
